Peanut Butter Pasta | low carb, vegan

 PASTA! Who doesn’t love pasta? Yet, we don’t always want to feel sluggish after having a huge plate (or three) of pasta. This is your alternative! This dish is loaded with veggies and all the good stuff to fuel your body and really nourish it. And of course, it tastes amazing. I never would have thought that I’d like the combination of sweet peanut butter with spices and sour lime, but it’s a-mazing. You’re gonna have to try the recipe to believe it.

If you’re not a peanut lover (that’s crazy, but it’s rumoured those people do exist), try this pasta dish with my delicious, oil-free pesto!


  • 2 tbsp peanut butter*¹ MyProtein
  • 1 tbsp low sodium soy sauce alternative: tamarind sauce
  • 1 tbsp agave syrup
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 (2 tbsp) lime, juiced
  • 1 tbsp warm water*²


  1. To make the dressing, combine all ingredients in a bowl and set aside.

  2. If you are using wheat or any other pasta, cook pasta according to the package instructions.

  3. Toss your veggie noodles (in my case spiralized carrots) in a pan and fry.

  4. Pour the sauce over pasta, toss gently to combine. 

  5. Cook over low heat for a few minutes and serve!
